Upgrade

I'm the luckiest girl ever.

We've been waiting for the real ring and it finally arrived on Friday. Kelly surprised me by giving it to me before we went to Utah (he'd planted some hints that he might be taking care of some ring-related business in Utah).

Last week I had a fake ring that turned my finger green. It looked like this-- except with all of the silver worn off. I referred to it as "rose gold".

I'm almost embarrassed about how really nice my ring is. But I really love it, so I'm sure I'll get over the shock of having such a gorgeous rock on my hand!

A New Way to Fly

Yesterday I discovered a new airline that is going to save Kelly and I $400 on our plane tickets for Christmas. Unfortunately they don't fly into SLC, but they fly all kinds of other places!

I'm a bit turned off by the option to pay for an assigned seat ahead of time, which also means you get to board first. (Assign seats or don't assign seats, but don't create a false sense of superiority by charging a nominal fee to choose a seat sooner!) But for $400, I really don't care

Sigur Ros

My brother Craig recently returned from a mission in England and brought home a few very British things and phrases. Last time I was home we played Cricket after church!

To Buy or Not to Buy

I can't empasize how perfectly this sweater matches my wedding dress. And since my wedding will take place in November in Utah, it is a highly practical item as well.

But, I can't get over the fact that the sweater costs twice as much as my wedding dress.
